With more than 30 years of experience in golf instruction, Riggs is a highly regarded industry veteran. He has worked with more than 50 NCAA Division I golfers, and one of his students, Danielle Kang, won back-to-back US Amateur titles and reached #1 in the World Amateur Rankings. He has also worked with Tour players from the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions, Korn Ferry Tour, Asian Tour, and Mackenzie Tour and has been a PGA Tour Instructor since 2016. The following year, Riggs was inducted into the Southern California PGA Teaching Hall of Fame. He is also an adjunct faculty member for the PGA of America in teaching and has been a featured speaker at both the PGA and LPGA National Teaching Summits.
Riggs was appointed Director of Instruction at Hualalai Golf Hale in November 2020.
