Clubhouse Operations Update

We experienced a series of events that have made the overseeding process much more challenging this year, with temperatures in the 100º’s during the day and warmer than normal temperatures at night. Until recently, we had not experienced any significant disease issues. Our main battle has been grow back of the Bermuda competing with the newly planted Ryegrass. Last week our lows for the evening only reached 84º degrees which has caused a Pythium disease outbreak in miscellaneous areas.

We are treating the affected areas to prevent spreading as much as possible. Once treated, we will be seeding those areas to promote new Ryegrass growth. Unfortunately, the impacted areas will most likely be noticeable when the courses open and we will be do everything possible to ensure a quick recovery.
