A Message From John Cochrane

I have thoroughly enjoyed being your General Manager at PGA WEST Private for almost 3 years. We are in the process of elevating this already iconic property to a whole new level in the country club industry with our sports club expansion and I am excited for the direction the Club is headed. Because of this and the relationships I have developed with the Staff and Members, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my resignation effective July 21. This has been one of the most difficult decisions of my career. PGA WEST is such a special place with very special people. Moving forward, I have accepted the position of General Manger at Toscana in Indian Wells. This new direction will give me the opportunity to work with one of my long-term mentors and spend more time with my wife, Gayle.

It has been my honor to return to PGA WEST where I was able to help open Kennedy’s and the newly renovated Private Clubhouse. During my time as General Manager, we have elevated the services in the tennis and fitness department that has led to the approval of your new Fitness Center and Sports Club. I have seen tremendous growth in the facilities, services and Member satisfaction levels of which I am extremely proud. I have full confidence in the team we have assembled that they will continue meeting and exceeding your expectations.
