Food & Beverage Committee Update
November 2018
Welcome to the 2018-2019 Season at PGA WEST! Whether you’ve been here all year, or returning from faraway places, your Food & Beverage Committee is excited to share new, exciting and informative details about the upcoming Season.
First-up is the Opening Night Celebration “Poolapalooza” on November 10th at the new Sports Club! More than 500 Members have made reservations for this year’s sold-out gala event – please be reminded that the suggested attire is: Desert Casual or Cocktail attire. Slacks and collared shirts requested for the gentleman. Remember the party is outside so bring a jacket or sweater. Please no denim, shorts or swim attire.
New menus abound at Kennedy’s, Peaks, Ernie’s and Wallaby’s. Please note that dinner reservations are required at Kennedy’s and Ernie’s - these are easily made online at PGAWEST.com. You may also call the Concierge Desk: 760.564.7111 for Kennedy’s and book your reservations for Ernie’s via OpenTable.com. Reservations are important as it allows our restaurants to function more efficiently and provide better service to our Members.
“Café 59” is transitioning to “Express 59”. This updated venue will open daily from 7am-2pm. While there is still some limited seating, the menu will include a variety of “grab & go” options designed specifically to serve Members looking for a quick bite and beverage.
“Ernie’s” is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner with all new menus and a great venue for watching your favorite sports and enjoying beautiful views. Dinner reservations are required at Ernie’s.
“Wallaby’s” located at the Clubhouse on the Norman Course, re-opens after Thanksgiving. If you haven’t noticed, they have terrific wine dinners and other very fun events that are accentuated by terrific views. Please note: Reservations are only required for special events.
The all new “Peaks” restaurant will open Saturday, November 17th. “Peaks” will offer casual dining and bar service daily – including breakfast Friday-Sunday starting in January. Seating is both inside and outside for your dining pleasure.
“Kennedy’s” will offer lunch 7 days a week between 11am-3pm. Dinner will be available Wednesday-Saturday 5pm-8pm and the Bar will be open Sunday-Tuesday from 11am-5pm and Wednesday-Saturday from 11am-9pm. Dinner at Kennedy’s will feature a special each night of the week: Wednesdays is Fried Chicken, Thursdays is Lasagna, Fridays is Chef’s Choice Prix-Fixe and Saturdays is Prime Rib.
Once again, please avoid confusion, disappointment and unnecessary hassle by making dinner reservations online or through the Club Concierge.
