clubwWelcome to the Jack Nicklaus International Golf Club (JNIGC). Throughout my professional career, I have enjoyed the privilege of playing some of the finest golf courses in the world, and have been fortunate to make many lasting friendships along the way. Through the creation of the JNIGC program in 1994, it was my desire to give the Members of our Clubs a similar opportunity to play one another’s courses, and to develop some meaningful relationships in the process.
As we design more golf courses around the world, the JNIGC network provides a link for our Clubs that we hope will further promote and strengthen a feeling of unity and camaraderie among the owners, Golf Professionals, and Members of our facilities.
The JNIGC is a reciprocal-playing network developed exclusively to benefit Members and owners of Nicklaus Design facilities. Members of the participating Nicklaus courses have access to a private website, which provides information on the many Nicklaus layouts that are available for play. Golf Professionals at Nicklaus courses can access the website and view contact and access information that helps them facilitate tee time requests on behalf of their members. The website is www.jnigc.org. The user name is member and the password is jnigc2009. Visiting JNIGC members will be responsible for their green fees, but there are no additional costs to the participating Clubs or their Members.
The access and availability information contained on the JNIGC website is provided to the Nicklaus organization by each Club and is intended only as a reference guide to consult prior to the initiation of a request. These guidelines do not guarantee a commitment of any dedicated tee times by the participating clubs and all requests shall be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Host Club Professional.
Only those individuals that are Members in good standing of a participating Nicklaus Design golf club are eligible to use the JNIGC program. Any Member request to play golf at a private Nicklaus Design course shall be initiated by that member's Home Club Professional. Under no circumstances should a member initiate a phone call to a private Nicklaus Design club under this program. There are some semi-private, resort, and daily-fee courses included in the network where it is appropriate for a Member to contact the facility directly with a tee time request.
It is left up to the discretion of each Host Club Professional to determine the guest rate that a visiting JNIGC member will be charged for golf. In the spirit of the shared association, any preferred rate that the Host Club Professional would like to offer would be greatly appreciated, but is not required. To avoid any potential confusion, each visiting Member should be advised by their Home Club Professional of the greens fee rate that has been confirmed and how the charges should be handled upon their arrival. Each Head Golf Professional will be responsible for monitoring the level of playing activity of his/her Members. If an individual Member is deemed to be making an unreasonable amount of requests to play any given course, it will be up to that Member's Home Club Professional to communicate the acceptable amount of frequency to them.
JNIGC Members shall abide by all of the Host Club's rules and regulations, as well as any requests made by the Host Club staff. |
