As one of Napa Valley’s few remaining family wine estates, Trefethen Vineyards has never purchased a single outside grape. Located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, their estate vineyard is nestled in a verdant landscape of vines at the cooler, southern end of Napa Valley. Trefethen now farms 63 distinct vineyard blocks, encompassing nine different grape varieties. This degree of specialization and intense focus on individual blocks maximizes the potential of each of our varieties and creates the foundation for producing consistently superb, world-class wines.
To celebrate Trefethen Family Vineyards’ continuing commitment to excellence, Morgan's in the desert is hosting a Winemaker's Dinner, offering attendees an unforgettable blend of taste and texture. Joining us is Janet Trefethen, co founder of Trefethen Family Vineyards. To make the evening truly one of a kind, Morgan's James Beard Award winning chef Jimmy Schmidt, along with Chef de Cuisine Brian Recor, has carefully designed a delicious tasting menu that is guaranteed to bring out the best of each of these masterfully crafted wines.
