Course Maintenance and Course Closure Schedule
With the summer months comes aerification. This is a much needed program to help keep our courses in ideal conditions. Aerification is used to remove thatch, relieve compaction, and allow water and air movement into the soil. This improves the turf and root health along with increasing microbial activity in the soil. Microbial activity is needed to aid in decomposition of thatch through out the year and for breaking down nutrients into usable forms of carbohydrates for the grass plant.
